David Drane returns in his second year as Head Coach of the Maastricht Wildcats: Q: How do you feel the team is looking this season? DD: Well very good. We have alot more players after an exhausting off season recruiting and we look pretty good right now. Of course we still have to play the games and show the same drive and leval that we played at in Camp. Q: How was the camp in Spain? DD: It was great. The guys got to know each other and become a team. We had 7 good practices and we enjoyed our time in the sun.. I think the younger players made the most of the opportunity to asorb the playbook and step up. We have alot of players this year and that creates competition which is vital for a team to get better. Q: What are your team goals? DD: The Tulip Bowl of course. We work hard and feel that with the team we have assembled, and if we play at the leval we are capable of, we have a very good chance of wresting the championship trophy and bringing it back to Maastricht. Of course every team in the leauge feels the same way about their teams chances this year. It will be an exciting season and we hope we can play the type of football that is needed to become champions. |
