Hello,

Firstly I want to welcome you to the new website of the Maastricht Wildcats, where we will bring you the latest news and events of your favorite AFBN team.

We have many goals for this season and being champions of the AFBN 1st league is just one of them. We have a new Junior/Cadets team that we are very proud of and we hope to be able to support and nurture these young players into becoming the wildcats of the future. They are very young but also very excited about this great sport.

We have a new program with the city of Maastricht to help promote not only football, but sports in general. We at the wildcats take this responsibility very seriously and will try all that we can to help the youth of Limburg as the city pushes sport as a way to keep fit. We realise that football is a very unique sport. A sport that teaches not only the game itself but also many things that are helpful in general life: team work, responsibility, punctuality, never quitting and always looking out for each other. These lessons are taught and learned at the wildcats, and thats why i am proud to be the President of this growing team.

Eerst en vooral wil ik jullie welkom heten op de nieuwe website van de Maastricht Wildcats, waar we jullie het laatste nieuws en de laatste gebeurtenissen laten weten van jullie favoriete AFBN team.

We hebben veel doelen voor dit seizoen. Kampioen worden van de 1ste divisie in de AFBN league, is een daarvan. We hebben een nieuw cadetten team waar we erg trots op zijn en we hopen hen  te kunnen ondersteunen en helpen om  toekomstige wildcats te worden. Ze zijn erg jong maar toch al erg enthousiast over deze grandioze sport.

We hebben samen met de gemeente Maastricht een programma opgesteld om niet alleen football te promoten, maar sport in het algemeen. Wij bij de Wildcats nemen deze verantwoording heel serieus en  wij,net als de gemeente Maasticht zullen proberen om de jeugd van Limburg sport te zien als een manier om fit te blijven. We realiseren ons dat Football een unieke sport is. Een sport die je niet alleen het spel zelf leert, maar ook veel dat je in het leven kan helpen: teamwork, verantwoordelijkheid, stiptheid, nooit opgeven en altijd voor de ander zorgen. Deze lessen worden onderwezen bij de Wildcats, en daarom ben ik trots de voorzitter te zijn van deze groeiende vereniging.
